Our Institute is well equipped with modern teaching faculties. Students are encouraged to develop confidence, personality and character development. The students are educated and trained in teamwork and self-discipline. Above all, Islamiyat which is the core subject of moral ethics is our top priority in order inbuilt the knowledge of Islam.

OHIE is affiliated to Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE). It is duly recognised by the department of Education and offers education from class Nursery to Grade Tenth.

The objective and main intention of the institution is to educate the younger generation that is noble, pious and pure through the medium of latest technology and pursuit of excellence in all fields. Audio-visual supporting material is made for making the learning process very easy and effective.

Parent Teaching Meetings (PTM’s), meeting of parents with H.O.D’s/ Principal is appreciated and encouraged are held for welfare of the children to monitor the overall progress.

Oak Hill Institute of Education usually hires renowned teachers both within the state and outside the state to provide best of teaching methods to our teachers. Teachers utilize the pouch of resources provided to them for their specific subject efficiently.

The faculty of Oakhill Institute of Education is its backbone. Each faculty member is an expert in his/her respective field. The faculty consists of near about 100 staff members. The academic community imparts regular teaching periods, train students for many activities, conducts morning assembly, enable student to arrange and participate in various programmes of the school.

OHIE is having three separate well equipped science laboratories for physics, biology and chemistry respectively. Students are encouraged to use these labs to learn for perfection. As we all are well aware that science is a practical subject which can only be taught by practical explanations and experiments. We provide/impart knowledge of science through latest equipments as that can be achieved only by demonstrating the topics practically. Our labs are well equipped with latest instruments, charts, specimen, etc. which are monitored and checked for update every year.
